What is up with places like Clamsdirect and Reefermadness not updating and / or having much listed?
The economy?
Trouble importing?
???

There could be many reasons why this is. Chances it is the weather, I just called overseas and they are under storms and storm warning which means that the collectors cannot go out and dive. It is also Typhoon season over in the Western North Pacific Basin.
It could also be due to the economy as MARINEDEPOTLIVE closed down their site. Marinedepot is still up and is not shutting down, but the livestock closed shop. They opened PETSTORE.COM to compete with Petco and Petsmart as far as pet supplies.
Also many vendors are not shipping out everywhere as the weather in this country is too cold depending where the item(s) are being shipped. Which means that due to the weather, not everyone is purchasing or receiving livestock to sell because of possible DOA issues. Even though Reefer is located in Los A, they too are experiencing bad weather today and for the rest of the week as well.

I have been trying clamsdirect for the longest time, barry is the name of the owner. I spoke to him over the phone a couple of times when we were trying to get him to sponsor maast. He had the nicest clams with very good prices. I wish i still had his phone number. I checked reefermadness last night, they had some nice corals.

Man, I'd have loved to gone to that! But there still isn't 1/10th of what he used to have on his site.
