black ick what is it and what does it look like. my sailfin has some dark spots on its body. he is eating fine but he is scratching himself on things/corals. what treats it.

a cleaner wrasse. unless you dose vitamin C consistently over a long period of time. I didnt and it came back tenfold. When my baby girlie tang o rang slapped the glass while looking at me, I took that as time to stop screwing around. It is a completely different parasite (IIRC) and the only relation is in the name. Act fast, you dont want the wrasse to irritate your fish to death.
