my small imperator angel has a few fuzzy dots on the edge of its finswhich i believe is fungus. what are some good treatments and can i do them in tank? :confused:

no, it is real small and fuzzy.

its very important that you identify correctly so that the proper diagnosis and treatment is given. I would recommend looking up information on CULUMNARIS and LYMPHOCYSTIS. Without clear picture to identify it, i would say it is a toss up between these two. Culumnaris can be treated and Lymph generally has to run its course and is not deadly unless it grows around the mouth and interferes with its eating.

Hey Jeff, I have some pimafix that is supposed to be for fungus. If you want the bottle let me know. Everything in the tank was un effected. It is about 90% of the big bottle.

I've seen excellent results when using "Rally" for flukes and fungal infections. It's a looong treatment, but effective. Prazi is good, but if going that route, I'd do a 10 minute concentrated dip rather than treating the entire tank.
