I have a 125 to supplement, what do you guys thing about sand? I was considering a glass bottom.

I've never seen a glass bottom one, but I'd do sand because in a tank that small you need all the advantages you can get.

I have a 3 gal pico that has been running for 4 years now. It's awesome. Don't have to do anything to it. Just runs itself. Highly recommend the maintenance free world of pico. I only do a 10% water change every 6 months!

looking good so far, I left the bottom clear for now.
