Alright I have been looking to add a Gorgonian to the nano, take a look at the pic below and someone help me id this thing so I can get one on order.

google blueberry gorgonian,, that may be it. very difficult to keep alive

Yeah it doesnt look like a typical blueberry gorgonian. With the blue stem, i have no idea what it is....

the guy in this thread has a nice blue gorgonian similar to the one you have shown in the link above. i think i asked him exactly what it was but he was unsure of the exact name.
if you scroll half way down the page you can see a pic of it. i think he said that he doesnt give it any special care other than normall water changes and MH lighting.

Thanks everyone, I was under the impression that these required low lighting but all of that I have read showing Metal Halides.

i have one under metal halides. they don't need bright light but they don't seem to care if it is there. just have to provide phytoplankton. I have the tellow one thogh. If you find a place selling the one pictured, let me know, i will get one as well.

I think Jeremy at B&B could get that for you. Im sure if you sent him a pic. could get it or tell you were you can get it maybe.

Alright I think I might have figured out what this is "Purple sea whip gorgonian", look at wiki for gorgonian and you will see the pic. I think the difference in the stalk color is because of the lights.
