Is there no one responsible for the picture of the month anymore? It is a nice picture but I think its time for a change. I wouldn't mind taking the responsibility of POTM changes.

You should talk to a board member and discuss your generous offer. Im sure they'd welcome any ideas you have. We all love pictures and it would be great if someone took an active interest in developing a POTM program that eveyone can enjoy.

It's a scorpionfish, it has legs extending forward (orange and white banded)....
It would walk around on it's legs and just use it's fins for show. I wish I could have kept it, but it would have eaten my reef safe fish, lol.

There was a tank of the month?...I wonder, which would the people on maast prefer?..Tank of the Month or Picture of the Month?
Should I make a poll?

This is just my opinion, I prefer the POTM, one major reason is.. it gets more people involved. Not everyone has the picture perfect tank.

Yea, I'd agree with that. POTM gets my vote.

You don't need a picture perfect tank....just something your proud of.
Picture of the month could be montly with a quarterly Tank of the Month/Season/Quarter.

Yea but lets be honest with ourselves, we'd all be looking for a kick butt tank. :hypnotyized:

The whole problem has always been participation. POTM sounds good, especially how it was being themed. There should be a limit of two wins per year per person/household. I agree with TOTQ, all non winning submissions should be rolled into the next quarter, until the end of the year. Each submission should have all of the required info posted as to eliminate having to wait until the submitter does their write up.

Not always....sometimes the most basic, simple setups look better than ones than full blown money pits.....

Good ideas. I believe we have a better chance of 4 TOTQ a year than 12 TOTM. With fresh blood around here, I'm sure we will have more entries~

There is a differnence between money pits and kick butt tanks, most of which we can tell right away.
