I have noticed that sme of my snails and crabs have died. My mesurements are spot on, shrimp are healthy and molting, fish and corals are great. However, my cleanre crew snails and crabs die from time to time. Does this just happen are their life spans short? It is not a mass death like a plague, but they just seem to dies from time to time...

Are they starving? If the crabs are hungry they'll go after the snails, and if the snails are all dead then the crabs will die.

Hermit crabs will fight and kill each other, and go after snails, so they can have the shell for a new home.

Do you ever hear any clicking or snapping in your tank? Could be a Mantis Shrimp.
