I want to buy Berghia Nudibranchs.
I have heard of people on here having major aptasia problems. I only have three aptasia (that I know of) but I don't want it to get any worse. They say the only diet for these Berghia Nudibranchs is aptasia. If I run out of aptasia for them to eat, I want to make sure some one with aptasia will buy them. Will there be anyone out there that will buy the nudibranchs once my aptasia is gone?

Acclimation is key. It is awesome to watch these guys devour aptaisia, roots first. If you can see apataisia, you have many more you cannot.

A member here on Maast used to breed them a couple of years back, he is from san antonio. I am not sure if here still does. His name is Larry and his screename is Instar. Might want to give him a try

Thanks gjuarez, you may have saved me on shipping, I hope he still sells them.
Now, if only I can find some one local that has a neon green polyp toadstool frags for sale.

Aptasia are photosynthetic, correct? So they have to be in a postion to receive light, which means they cann't hide under a rock or ledge.

I do not think they are photsynthetic. I have them growing in almost no light. If they are they require very little.

It looks like I may have to order them from the other place online. I went to Instars website and it said 8 weeks before they are available. I am going to contact him to see if that is true. I don't think I can wait 8 weeks. Do you guys know of any other place in SA, where I can get these nudibranchs?
