Hello everyone, have a little question for ya. I am running a 125g tank that has been running since October. We just installed a 20-30 gallon sump with a Percision Marine Skimmer (which is working quite nicely already btw). The tank has about 70 lbs of live rock and 60 lbs of base rock from reefcleaners that has been in the tank since 12/13/08.

We are going to go FOWLR, the lighting is not that good. These are the fish we are interested in, suggestions would be great as to how you think the mix would work. I understand that there is probably no possible way all these would get along. What mix would you suggest?

1 - Humu Picasso, Clown or Niger Trigger
1 - Raccoon Butterfly
1 - Large Angelfish, suggestions needed
1 - Volitan Lionfish
Maybe a eel?

Here is what I have narrowed the list down to, what do you think?

Russell's Lionfish
Volitan Lionfish
Harlequin Tusk
Snowflake Eel

That sounds great. Where are the angel fish? If I had a FOWLR I would have to include angles since most are not good for a reef.

Yeah, where are the angels? I love angels. Consider a porcupine puffer, they are very cool and have alot of personality, funny guys.

Well I am glad to hear I am on a decent track. I am really interested in the angels but have no clue what big angels are easy to find and hardy.

What large angels do you guys like?

If I was to add a large angel would I need to take one of the lions off the list?

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

B&B has two Imperator Angels, one for two months and the other for over a month. With the frozen foods available today it has been easy to keep large angels, as compared to the 90's. I would try corals like mushrooms, GSP, Frogspawn, and Xenia to help filter your water and keep your nitrates down. I bought this blue Face from them and he is doing great. Will the tuskfish mess with the corals??
