It's incredibly slow for me. I can play a whole Spider Solitaire game waiting on a page to load.

I know eveyone has problems once in a while, but this has been going on for a couple of days, maybe the club should look into better hosting then cartama. I have my own 1U colocated server at a half decent datacenter with 2GB of traffic for only $25 bucks a month. There are quite a few good hosting and collocation company's out there.

Also, if this was the route taken, I would offer my services to do the server side. I ran a tracert and the first hit is my router, the second times out. Something in the routing tables must have gotten jacked up...

2gb of traffic for MAAST wouldn't work though, especially with all of that snow.

Trace complete.

Looks like it is going through to Houston, and then back to San Antonio before getting to their network? I say call TWC and have them run a trace to see if they can make sense of it.

Yes, painfully slow since the site went down on the weekend. Yesterday morning seemed to be better, but then it got bad again in the evening.

we should be running at full steam now, we are running maast on a vitrual machine and it reverted to default values for traffic. Our host locked in a custom mapping for us so it shouldn't happen again. Sorry for the trouble.

that trace isnt a big surprise, twc regionalizes everything now

the benefits we have with cartama far outweigh what little we would save by moving

Wow. I didn't know y'all went with Cartama. I guess that's MY fault. Now that I know, I can also call Mark when there's a problem.

They host several of my bulletin boards, including the Mercedes Benz Club of America - with 26,000 paid members. We rarely, if ever, have a problem there, and our traffic is huge.

Thanks Brian much better.

it.

Oh I know 2GB is nothing for Maast, that is the simplest plan, they have plans with terabytes of transfers or plans that just charge for overage, they even have plans for dedicated gigabit ethernets if you're pushing that kind of bandwith.
