This is a DIY canopy that I was using on my 90 gal tank until my Father-in-Law built me a really nice canopy for Christmas. It's got oak panels with pine trim. It was painted black when I got it, but I stripped the paint off, sanded the wood and stained it. There is room for 5 T5 bulbs or two smallish MH pendants.
The canopy opens from the front with a hinge on the front edge and one on the back enge which allows for a lot of working room. the back of the canopy is open with a brace down the middle.
