Im think of selling my nikon camera as a package only cause I want to upgrade. This is a great starter camera. I will only sell as a package only and will not part out. The kit will include the D50 body, a 24-85mm lens, a manual 55mm macro lens, a 55-200mm zoom lens, SB600 speedflash and a SB-29(??) flash cord, plus camera bag and memory card. All for $750. I may even include another zoom lens if I can find it (55-300mm)

I forgot to mention this camera is backwards compatible with older nikon lenses both digital and regular SLR lenses.

How did you like that macro lens. I'm looking to get a macro along with a flash for my D90 I just bought. let me know if you might be interested in breaking up the kit.

The lens is great. Not sure if the newer nikons will accept it, that was one of the reasons I got the D50 instead of waiting for the D40. Not separating right now because I would like to get enough money for an upgrade.

Mine will except most lenses, especially the AF lenses and they don't have to have the AF motor built in like the D40 required. If you get offers that may want just the body and a couple of things let me know what you might have left and maybe between the two we can get you what you need.

I was wanting to change to a cannon Xsi because my brother in law has extra lenses I could use. If enough people are interested in buying all the part separately I may do it.

Macro lens is not AF but an older all manual lens with no computer parts. Will only work on manual settings with the D50, but takes great pictures and is really fast. If I do part out I would like offers on all the equipment before doing so because I would have no use for the rest so all equipment must be spoken for before I sell anything. Here is the prices I would like for each item

Nikon Body + 24-85mm lens $300 (plus camera bag memory card and extra lens filters)---SOLD
Nikkor 55-200 lens $150 ($200 new)
Quantaray 70-300mm zoom lens $100 ($150 new)
Manual 55mm Macro Lens $50 ( paid $80)--pending brewercm
SB-600 Flash with SB-29 flash cord $200 (almost $350 if bought separately)

I'd take the flash and the macro lens but would need to wait until first of next month, possibly sooner if some of the $$$$$$ I just loaned comes back to me soon.

Actually could pay for the macro immediately if you wanted.

Camera is pending so I will start parting out the rest of the equipment. If you already requested something you will have first dibs on it.

BTW, is that 55-200 mm is the AF/VR version. I have that same lens and it rocks, beats the heck out of paying $600 - 700 for the 18-200mm.

It is AF but not the VR lens. Still an excellent zoom lens. BTW the camera has sold so everything else is up for grabs.

Items are no longer for sale. I will be staying with the nikon line and keep the lenses and light. My D90 should be here next week.

You will be very happy with the D90, I love mine. Still haven't gotten a chance to use that macro yet as I really have nothing in the tank yet. Can't wait to put it to good use.
