As of now I have a sunpod over my 34 gallon solana. It is the 150 watt sunpod. Is this enough light for some sps? I do not have any coral in there. Just live rock and clean up crew. This tank has only been running about a week.

you could keep some easy sps such as montipora digitata or an encrusting montipora towards the very top. i like to start out with these as "testers" anyway.

Test it out with some monti caps as mentioned by Grindhouse tats...

With the right parameters and a stable tank you could get away with possibly more than basic SPS.
