Its been a small hiatus but got in a settled place in Houston with my gf so her and I just picked up a biocube 14 with skimmer, stand, stock with sand and live rock. Its just getting settled but it was going for 6 moths previously so the cycle is basically done. Ill be scouring the internet for all the latest tips and tricks but any suggestions would be appreciated, but i don't expect it on a platter.

Going to get some live rock tomorrow get new bulbs and get the rock-work situated and build up the post count so i can utilize the locked sections due to my little amount of posts.
Oh yeah pics as well once its worth posting.

YESSS PICTARZZZ. Got 10lbs of cured goodness today with a few small little frags and some fuzzy mushrooms. Filled the tank good. Put new lights in and getting retro pc next week for 72 watts of pc action. Time to fill with coral. If i put it high enough and away from the other coral i could keep some frogspawn right? Enjoy.

Thanks all, had a scare last night, something freaked out the firefish "twitch" and he launched himself in the rear section so im going to build a barrier today. "Wang Chum" was startled as well. Going to loose the large brown polyps probably as well.

Dman twitch did it again, and now he is apparently dead. He is stuck in the water viewing compartment. I dont know if the wrass was being an *** but they were housed together at the lfs. Could my coral have stung it and startled it? If only it could have waited a day for the divider.

Both of those fish are known for jumping. My sixline ended up in the middle section...well on top of the grate. My clown some how ended up in the third section. My mothers clown ends up there often.

I've got a sixline, a small clarkii clwon, yellow watchman goby and a damsel in mine. I had a tiny hippo tang for a month to help with algae. I brought him home last week and now he's got ich. Go figure...happy as can be in the cube, but stressed in the 120 with lots of hiding places. And it's like he's intentionally trying to give it to one of my anthias...they swim side by side or just rest there in the water leaning against each other...I'm sure it's because they want the same rock!

Went to the LFS for my sexy shrimp and came home with these! Bonnie and Clyde, already paired for life. They are getting along fabulously with Wang and Twitch. They have also molted already.

Looks great! I have fish problems on my Finnex but egg crate seemed to have repelled them from jumping.
