I am wanting to scrape the paint off the middle chamber of my biocube 29 for a light and make it a refugium. I've seem it done with clip on spiral bulbs behind the stand but I have limited space and want as little heat as possible.

At HEB plus I found this strip for $10 with 9-1watt LEDS.

Does anyone out there have any better suggestions or reasons why this wouldn't work?

Thanks,

Kyle

Looks cool to me, plus it's only $10!

I have seen lesser LEDs doing well on refugiums like that.

I've never used leds but figured it is such a small area the output would be fine.

Without a skimmer a small fuge should be a good addition to the system.
