I was going to rebuild my 24 Aquapod as the title implies, just asking for some ideas. Well first i was going to fill it with different types of Macro and fill it with copepods, so that i could have a good enviorment for a pair of blue mandarins i plan on getting. I would like to add maybe one or two other fish any suggestions?

Nanotuners.com has a awsome kit for your Aquapod. It allows your pod to have 4 pc, upgraded fans and an R2 Moonlight option that would make your pod 144w total. It is nanocustoms 4.36. It would make your Aquapod BAD!!!!!

A pair of mandarines wont last long in a small tank, unless you buy them eating frozen food, which is rare. You might be able to train them, but I wouldnt bet on it. I think a clown tank with a showcase anemone make awesome nanos.

i agree with hamp, even if the aquapod is crawling with copepods, i don't think the population would be sustainable with a mandarin or two grazing on them all day. the anemone/clown is a good luck, i've also seen some very nice ricordia tanks.

ORA "Necked/stripe-less" clowns are not often seen. AquaTek has four of them for $40 each.

I am into the onyx clowns myself, but they are all cool fish.

picasso clowns look cool and are rarely seen, i'm pretty sure ORA is breeding them.

Id 'get a picasso pair, you need at least 75lbs of lr per mandarin for copepods, unless you dose your tank with copepods regularly I wouldnt put one, much less 2, mandarins in a tank that small. Although, ppl have had sucess with a single mandarin in a nano size tank, I havnt heard of any long term sucess.

Whatever you decide though, good luck. :)
