My brother-in-law has Ozarka Spring Water delivered to his house monthly and they always have a couple of 5 gallon bottles left over every month (they are on a flat rate plan). He was wondering if he could use this water for his tank as top-off water and for water changes.

I'm thinking it will be fine since copper is not detectable.

Any other input out there on the subject?

His tank: 34gal RSM reef.

Thank you.

You could always check it with a TDS meter and water test kit.....

i would say no. in my experience it doesn't work. after the hurricanes past we had cases of ozarka laying around the house. so i used it for my daily topoffs and within a week i lost my potter's pygmy angel, rusty pygmy angel, dragon goby, and a citron goby. and I had a bad outbreak of green hair.
i don't know exactly what in the water caused it. and as mentioned earlier, i was told it had to do with phosphates. so, I just did a major water change and started a 1ml vodka drip and it was cleared up in about a week. that's just my experience, i'm sure someone out there has tried it with some success though, thats the nature of saltwater.
