canopy build - thoughts/suggestions

I have a 125g. I would like to enclose the top and add some crown molding to make it look nice. Should I completely enclose the top? Leave the back section open for air escape? I thoght I would leave the top completely open and have a front hatch... thoughts?

Leave the top open. Heat is always going to be an issue. Enclosed also means moisture problems also.
