I haven't plumbed my auto topoff yet but I did try testing it with a lamp.

It's got the upper and lower switches but I don't think they're working correctly.

When I'm holding the topoff up, the light is on. When I push the bottom float up, the light goes off.

When I push the bottom float up and the top float up, it just stays off.

Am I seeing this right?

If Im reading right. You say that when you push the lower float up the light goes off. If so that part is working. No current should be running if float switch is up (breaks the current+ no light on) if the light stays off when both switches are up that also is correct. Upper switch is in case lower switch fails to float up and breaks the current. Also the light should be off if just the upper switch is up.

Ahh, so upper switch is a safety?
My last setup was lower switch down PUMP ON, upper switch up PUMP OFF.
I'll throw it on a 5minute timer once a day or something.
Thanks for clarifying.
