Thank you, Ace! This was the first time trying out the photobox. I used it on a few of them.
Learned my lesson about lingering too long around the halides with the hood up. Almost caught my hair on fire - it was so hot. :hypnotyized:

Ok... Wow!
The first unidentified coral, to me, looks like http://reefermadness.us/_FileLibrary/Product/2231/RMD0515082-medium.jpg (http://reefermadness.us/_FileLibrary/Product/2231/RMD0515082.jpg)

The second, I don't know but that is sweet, love the blue polyps!
And the palmers blue mille, wow again! I have never seen it that blue, congrats.

I am guessing the #2 unidentified acro is a Blue Loisettae Acropora I received from Paul Whitby in Oklahoma. I wrote everything down but had no pictures to ID with.

I was going to say I have a VERY similar coral in my tank.... Ironically, I got mine from Paul as well.
By any chance, have you moved this coral to a location in your tank with higher light? My small colony got outgrown by another coral in front of it so you couldn't see it from the front of the tank. I remounted a frag of it in another location that was more visible, but it was a couple of inches lower. The tips of the frag still stayed blue, but not nearly as intense as they were when they were just a couple of inches closer to the halide. Nothing else in the tank has changed, just the location of the frag. I thought it was odd that just by lowering it a couple of inches that it would lose it's color so much.

This frag has been through hell and back. I started with a 58 gallon where it was unmounted and constantly knocked over and moved. The new tank has been more stable. I have (4) 250 watt halides with Lumenbright reflectors. Where it is located, it gets pretty strong light but is halfway down in the tank.
What id do you have for yours? Any pics?

Yeah mine has been through quite a ride as well. I don't have any pics since it's spent the majority of the time I've had it behind a large (well, it's large for my little 40g tank anyway, 6"+) birdsnest colony. I knocked the rock that it was on over while moving a couple of frags about 3 weeks ago. When the rock fell it busted off all but 2 of the tips of this piece, and broke the BN colony at it's base. I've traded / given away all of the frags already, and the base still looks healthy. This coral is pretty resiliant, and has been a fast grower for me. It should grow out in no time.
Did you get yours when Paul tore down his leaking tank?

Yep. I picked up several corals form him. The blue tipped acro above is from him as well.

Wow, absolutely gorgeous corals! Anytime you move some stuff around the tank and inadvertently end up with some frags lemme know and I'll help you out by taking them off your hands... ;-)

I can probably frag off a tiny tip on the Palmers Blue Mille - It hasn't produced any other buds yet.
