I have just recently aquaried some starburst polyps, mushroom corals, and taro tree corals.

Is there any food I can buy for them? should I buy a supplement? If so would you please tell me the brand you use and how often you suppliment?

I believe oyster eggs (DT's brand) is pretty good stuff... I use it every couple days. I would start testing your CA/Alk/Mg and learn what that's all about... :)

Calcium/Alkalinity(this could possibly refer to Carbonate Hardness, but I'm not 100% confident on that)/Magnesium.

Be sure and buy good test kits as the dip sticks are not real accurate

why would I need to test for CA/Alk/Mg?

Geeze seems like the more i look into the salt water, the more clueless i become...

Get use to feeling that way...I've been reefing for 2 years and I read up on the hobby daily and I still feel like I'm just getting my feet wet. The challenge keeps my interest though.

Read up! MAAST is the perfect place to be. Tons of experienced reefers here.
