Reef temps??? What

Well, with the additiona of two 250w MH's my reef is now staying 79-83. I hate the 4 degree swing from night to day but it will have to do for now. I use to be 79-81.

What is everyone else at?

I also accidently forgot to hook back up a timer today and found that my MH's were on for over 10hours and the tank was at 86 when I got home. They are of course off now but I hope it hasn't streesed anyone out too much! Any input here from anyone?

My tank has about a 3 degree shift through the day. Never goes above 82. I used to run my MH for 8 hours a day until I read some business about 4 hours being enough. Now that I'm battling an algae outbreak I only run them about 2 hours a day. What corals I have left are still alive running 10 hours of PC with 2 hours of MH.

you will be fine Rob, just add a fan to blow off the top.
you could even hook it up to your timer with the MH.
so as soon as the MH kick on so does your fan.
