Mini serpent/brittle stars? If that's what you're looking for, I've got a bunch in my fuge.

I don't know how well they'll handle the shipping, but I can give it a shot.

Anybody closer to Salado (N of Austin) have mini stars in their sump/fuge that they could get to mike? I've got them, but it's pricey to ship them. Anyway we can help Mike without having to ship?

Mike I have them in my display tank! I always see them in the magnets on my powerheads and in my rock! How many are you looking for? If I can help you out I would be happy to bring them over and maybe get a couple frags from you, if you have some for sale! Send me a PM!

Cool beans! I knew there was a way to get what you wanted without having to pay the crazy shipping. :) Glad it worked out.

Sorry to bring up a old toppic but, I found what seem to be small brittle starfish in the sand of my quarentine tank. I have looked everywhere and can't find if they are good bad or babies how can I tell?
thanks

They are likely the tiny brittle stars - and they are good.

Do they get bigger or do most of them stay small... Like what Im sayin I guess is has anyone had brittles to actually reproduce?
What a noob question lol

I counted them about a year ago in my big tank. I had a bazillion. Exactly. Seriously, there were several under every rock, and thousands of arms reaching out of the holes in rocks. So, yes, they reproduce. With arms, max size is about a quarter.

hey guys, i am going to bump this thread to the top again, lol.
i was wondering if harlequin shrimp can/will eat these. i really don't want pillow stars in my tank and chocolate chip stars can get expensive.

I still wanted to buy some of these little guys, although I saw a couple in my sump a few weeks back but havnt seen any since. I do have a harliquen shrimp in my display and a hungry wrasse. maybe thats why I dont see them very often. I see lots of asternia stars though

No, when I had harlequins they did NOT eat the tiny brittle stars.
