I think it would be worth my time and effort if I was able to attach the BTA to a LR. I see it done with mushrooms and bowls and letting attach when comfortable. If I could get him attached then place with his tank mates I would avoid anemones and coral getting mad and or attacked. Any ideas?

It will attach on its own,, an anemone will go where it wants and you will have to just let it "do what it do" so to speak. the best you can hope for are the proper conditions (lighing and such) so it will stay generally where you want it,, Please do not try and physically hold it down in any way

HAha no I didn't mean adhesive or anything. More like tubaware container and LR rubble. On second thought they are much more mobile than their coral cousins and even after a firm attachment to any rock, current and lighting could change the anem's mind. After all its about "Location, Location, Location"

Exactly,, If he is not attached to anything, then the tupperware is a good idea to keep him from rolling around in the current, once he attaches to that then he will crawl where he wants

Also watch it around any of your powerheads, because the tentacles will get sucked in.

Oh yeah. Been down that road. My last BTA was a floater. I would offer a deep crevice rock and ten minutes later he'd be surfing the water column. I spent the rest of the day with him. I left him that night situated nicely only to find him the next morning as chopped suey . Letting him attach and crawl out on his own accord sounds good.

I learned my lesson this week on my former BTA. He keep moving to back of the DT and I wanted him in the front so we could enjoy and view. After moving the rock around a couple of times over the last few weeks then again this week. He got fed up with my placement and starting floating for a new home. Koralia 1 BTA 0
