Hey I finally bought an Aquarium!!!!!!!!!!! 125 gallon already has a sump and protien skimmer (all included). Tank is in good shape, stand in good shape...My wife and I are excited.
Our next step is to test the tank....Once that all works out..Live sand and live rock. Any suggestions on types of live sand, aggrigate, live rock..dead live rock (what is this) Any tyis on saving some money would be great.

Woohoo, congrats Sammy (and wife)!
Good tip for saving money, you can use Pavestone crushed limestone for your sand, mix in some live sand from an established tank to seed it and you'll be rockin' it for MUCH less than buying a bunch of bags of Caribsea or the like.
Dead live rock is live rock that was left out of the water and/or cooked until all the beneficial organisms on the rock are dead. Also referred to as base rock. You can get live rock to seed the dead live rock, but be aware it'll probably cause your system to cycle 'cause there's probably dead and decaying material on the dead rock.
What kind of lighting are you going to use? Reef tank? FOWLR? Enquiring minds want to know!
Do you have any pics?

At this point we are going for a FOWLR. Add in some anenomies (how do you spell that any way?) and BOOM...our tank. Not sure on the fish yet...probably a few damsiels to start and if I do not kill them add some clowns....I would like to end with a lionfish....they look SOOOOOOO cool swiming around. Thoughts on stocking the tank?
I have a few picts but am not sure how to display them yet..

go bare bottom. I will never go back. tank is way healthier now. Get lots of dry rock and seed it with a little live rock from someones established tank. You can sprinkle some rubble on the bottom if you dont want to see the glass. after a couple months the bottom will turn purple anyways
