I have only been to San Antonio once in my life (last week) and have to come to town again next Wednesday. My son is applying for a job there and we are making a second trip for the interview. We found one aquarium shop while we were there and they were very knowledgeable and we spent a lot of time learning and spending money. We want to visit other shops in San Antonio while my son is in the interview Wednesday. Can anyone tell me the best place in town for frags and live rock? Thanks. For Liverock you want to go to Phenominal Aquatics for sure

Aquarium Designs, B&B are great for livestock.

There is also Alamo Aquatics.

We have many great stores and sponsors in San Antonio so plan to stop by many!

I will look them up. We moved from a 75 to a 150 and our 200 lbs of live rock hasn't gone as far as we thought it would. Partly because I put the rock on the egg crate this time as opposed to on the sand. The gobies dig it up and I don't want it shifting. It is a 30" tank and I am using T5HO, so I want lots of rock to put the corals closer to the light. Aquarium Designs is where we went on the last trip. They were great and I got the Octopus skimmer I needed for a great price. Thanks.

Tomorrow is the day. If anyone knows of any great deals on live rock, I would appreciate a heads up. We won't have a lot of time, so any help would be appreciated. It looks as though Phenomenal Aquatics is not open tomorrow and does not open until 530 on Wednesday. Thanks.
