Swapping bulbs?

i have a 29 g biocube and a 14g bio. 1 of the lights on my 29Bio went out. its a 32w 10000k. I have an extra 24w 10000k from my 14bio. this light fits my 29g socket and turns on. Would this work as a temporary fix or could it damage the light or socket in any way??

Some ballast are self regulating like workhorse. The only way is to find the writing on the ballast to see if it is listed in total watts or if it states "listed for 1-32w lamp". If it is work horse they have a website that shows what lamps will go with what ballast.

I wouldn't run those 14gal bulbs in the 29gal. What all do you have in your 29gal tank?
