i need to know which koralia to buy, i think i want the nano. is that enough flow for a 20 high. if not, which should i look into? i don't want to over do it, just enough to keep my tank healthy. any suggestions would be appreciated.

It really depends on what you want to stock your tank with. The Koralias produce a very widely dispersed flow. In your tank, I would go with a K1 minimum, and up to a combination of a K1, and a K2 if you want to keep SPS.

K1, if you want fish in there, too. :)

thanks, i was afraid that a k1 would be too much flow since it is only 24 in. wide. but i guess not. i think i will go with a k1. i am mostly into palys and zoos, if i get into the sps/lps i might upgrade. thanks again.

I don't know.... I had 2 K1's in a 30g that I tore down before it ever got stocked and they really didn't move that much water.

Then again, I was running my 40g at almost 100x's turnover for a while, so yeah, I guess I like alot of flow!!!

do you still have them, if so, might one be up for sale?

K2 would probably be better. I run a K3 in my 25 gallon high (24 in wide). It works great as long as the flow is bounced off a wall first. Otherwise it irritates the *** out of my Frogspawns, Trumpets and Neon Candy Canes.

I don't, sorry! I sold them about a month ago.

Yeah, I'm at approximately 83x turnover on my 29g, so I wouldn't worry too much about a K1 being too much flow... :-)
