My Yellow Tang has HLLD/HLLE (hole-n-head) forming on head and appears to have Red Pest disease. Need recommendations on treatment. Other than a 10% water change a week ago, no other stressful actions occured in tank.
120g reef tank with: hippo tang (infested with ICH), red fire shrimp, 6line wrasse, 1 ocellaris clownfish, 4green chromis, 1 sally lightfoot crab, and several hermit crabs.
Water lvls tested good: PH-8.0, Ammonia-0, NO2-0, NO3-.05, Salinity-1.020

HLLD/HLLE can be caused by the following; lack of algae, lack of nutritious foods, stray voltage in the tank, poor water quality, stress.

The HLLD appears to have dissipated in my YT...what i believe was Red Pest (slight red streaks top fin) also disappeared. Not sure what transpired to eliminate the hole in head...it lasted longer than the red pest.
My YT loves nori, formula one marine pellets w/garlic, and frozen mysis/spirulina shrimp.

Forgot to mention, i now have a uv sterilizer to help fight an ick problem that wont go away...Purple Tang has had ick for nearly a month. Recently bought a grounding probe and placed in sump as my last resort to fight the ick. The water quality has typically been good...will increase the frequeny of water changes to see if that helps fight the ick.
