September Meeting

We would like to welcome you to the September Meeting @ Bass Pro Shop on I-10 from 2-4 pm. There will be a Presentation about bringing MACNA to San Antonio in 2010. The presentation and slide show will be presented by Cheri Byrd, Sean Hall and Jessica Young with pictures by Anthony Pedroza and Sean. These were attendees representing MAAST at MACNA XX in Atlanta. This will be a very informative meeting and ask that all attend. We would like to have your valuable input. Sean, Jessica, Anthony and Cheri worked very hard to capture the essence of MACNA. We, also would like to thank Mike and Katie Leisman for their participation and welcome their input at this meeting as well.

That is a great idea! I'll have to remember that next time I'm scheduled to work on the weekend (doesn't happen very often, but its not my cup of tea!).

One question that I have since I am new to MAAST, do you all do frag swaps and sales at your meetings, or is it just prior aranged sales? I know tha club that I was with in MD had a few members that set up and brought a lot of coral for sale and trade. Thanks for the info, and just judging to see how much cash I need to have LOL

Most of our meetings focus on education of some sort. we have had one big frag swap and plan on doing more.

Just to clarify the events of the Sept meeting, JordanJ will be giving a presentation and then we will have the Video presentation of MACNA XX from Atlanta. We weren't sure if we would have the presentation completed for the meeting, so Jordan stepped-up with his presentation and some donations of products for the raffle. We have several gift certificates for the raffle, fish food and a few other items. We also have a few T-shirts for door prizes...some MAAST and some from MACNA.

This should be a good meeting to attend. Hope to see you all there...
