Hello to all,
I have a 92g corner tank which consists of 2 clowns, 2 reef chromis, 1 yellow tang, 1 firefish, 1 orange spotted goby, 1 flame angel, 1 coral beauty & 1 copperband butterfly, 25 snails (variety), Zooanthid (Dragon Eyes) just sprouting approximately 60 polyps, and Xenia (pulsing), and 1 feather duster.
My question is: Have any of you encountered webbing coming off live rock, if so is it normal or should I be concerned?

I have the same thing in my tank. I think its a type of tube worm that extends out a mucus and traps food that floats by and then retracts it to eat it. I'm not sure what they are called. I'd like to hear more info on them though as well.

And the more you try to remove the web, the more web they produce. They are basically harmless, but may irritate polyps. My six-liner eats them.

I have thoes as well, I finally found the location of the culprit the other day, or at least i think this is him, he only comes out at night and he looks kinda like a long stem of a mushroom, anyway, I'll use my digicam with flash to get him where i've seen him several times before, hopefully I'll get him cause everytime i turn on the lights the guy is gone in a split of a second.

So many times i had this chance, but believe me when i say the dood is quick! haha, anyway here is the picture.... I believe he is the tube that is going down into the mushroom... kinda blurry but like i said sorry, he's quick. I am not sure that this is what does the webs but I have reason to believe he is, otherwise it's concidence... hope this helps haha :)

Now I'll be on a nightwatch and be on the lookout!! Ha! Ha!
Anyway, I will definitely be watching out at nights. If I don't put my ear to the ground I can't hear the buffalo coming!!

Yup, vermetid snails. They secrete a tube-like shell that is attached to the live rock. They can be a pest if their larva end up in a coral, because their mucous 'fishing lines' will irritate some coral polyps, but otherwise, they're good about catching any uneaten food.
