Yes even though it may not seem like it, I started the local craze on the solar stuff. Almost a year before the adored members did. I had 4 complete 14" kits. I used 3 plus one had a little damage.

I'm giving away free to anyone that wants to piece a kit together all of my leftovers.
The most important piece is there, the dome for the roof. One of the 90 degree elbows from the roof dome. The flashing. a tube of asphalt caulk. Some screws. I think I should have the trim ring for your ceiling and possibly a light diffuser.

Anyways it is missing the reflective tube. You can order it from any home store (I bought a 48" extension for $100 at Home Depot.). You may wish to look into buying the reflective flex tube as it's much easier to install.

This stuff is free, pick it up and you could be as cool as Hobogato or TexReefer (just imagine being the next MAAST superstar), or it's going to the trash cause I just don't care anymore.

Mike.

Would be fun, but my apartment manager would evict me, and then fine me. Have you enjoyed the solar?

Update: I even found an original 24" piece of tube. The elbow from the roof is broken however the piece for the ceiling is perfect. I think you can buy the elbow for $40. That would make a complete kit. These run around $300 or so a kit, some kits are as high as $600.

JM I'd answer your question but my opinions don't count so I won't waste the time.

Mike, your cool in my book

Your the 'original solar gangsta'. Wish I had a house to take advantage of this generous offer.

Mike,
I could sure use it, but I won't be in Austin until the week of the 19th. Any chance you will be in the SA area or can you hold it that long? Our new roof had defective shingles, so the manufacture is going to re-roof us for free. Sounds like a perfect time to add solar lights.

That's nice of you, Mike.

BTW: How's your tank coming along, Mike? I'd like to see what it looks like now. :)
