Flatworm Infestation - help?

Hi everyone. So I'm having a problem with a trumpet coral that I've been babysitting for my boyfriend while he gets his new tank up and running. This trumpet has slowly become covered with small, light brown flatworms. It's at the point where they cover every surface of its heads, and one head has already started to die (assumed smothered to death). These little pests haven't shown up anywhere else in my tank, nor are they bothering any of my other corals. I've tried sucking them up with a pipette, and managed to get most lot of them, but a few days later there's tons of them again! What should I do? I was wondering if maybe an iodine bath or even a quick freshwater dip might help. Since the coral is dying, we're ready to consider anything to kill these little buggers. Can anyone suggest a treatment? Thanks!

get a 6 line wrasse been known to eat them. also flatworm exit treatment liquid.

let the polyps deflate, then shake vigorously in fresh water. they will fall off rather quickly.

Hmm... I've thought about a six-line, but I'm reluctant to get one since I also have a mandarin, and would rather not have another fish that wil compete with him for pods. I think I'll try shaking them in freshwater first, and see how that goes. Thanks!

I had them and my sixline cleaned them out

Yup. As above. I have manderins, and a sixline. Unfortunately, the 6 line is really the best way to go.
