could you use a calcium reactor and use sulphur instead of arag media?

I've got a sulphur biodenitrator product review in the products section. Started off w/NO3 levels around 100 and they're at 10ppm and falling.

Yes, the unit I purchased is just a converted calcium reactor. The only difference is that h2o is recirculated from bottom to top instead of top to bottom. Also, the CO2 inlet has been switched over to an air valve to bleed off excess nitrogen. Should be pretty easy to convert a CA reactor to a NO3 reactor w/minimal modifications.

Hi,

I purchased my denitrator unit from midwest aquatic.

Cheers,
