Are the marineland perfecto's or whatever their called as good as oceanic. I know that the marinelands have a 20 year warrenty and have starfire glass as well. Do the oceanic's have lifetime warrenty? Which are better? I've seen some good prices on predrilled marineland perfectos at the petstore. One is a 150 gallon the other is a 300 gallon, which the 300 is well over double the price of the one fifty... any thoughts or comments are appricated... thx a bunch

You might want to check into the starfire glass. The only ones from perfecto that I know comes with starfire glass is the new Marineland cube tanks. I had a 110 gal RR perfecto prior to moving to TX and it was great.

Marineland makes great products, I would think there new tanks would be made well also. Oceanic although is still a great aquarium company it is not the same company it was several years before it was bought out and moved from Dallas. It is kind of like when the Lonestar Beer name was purchased by Miller and it is now made in Fort Worth. The label says Lone Star but we all know it is just not the same. I believe the new Marineland tanks are very expensive? Probably close to the Deep Sea Aquatics brand which is the old Oceanic custom division personnel. I have seen two aquariums built by Deep Sea Aquatics, both where built very well.

Hey Noober, you should add your location to your profile so we know where you're at! :)

If you really want to go big, I would go with DSA, as I haven't heard anything bad about them yet. Every other manufacturer seems to have it's good/bad points....
