Magnesium

Do you test for Magnesium? I am getting into SPS and I was wondering if I need to worry about this. I am currently using Kent Coral-Vite and Kent Essential Elements.

Do you have a picture of your tank? How much SPS do you have? Have you been testing your CA/Alk? How often are you dosing?

I have a CA reactor now, but previous to that all I did was weekly 15-20g water changes with reef crystals with great results.

I have been "collecting" frags for the last 3 weeks through trades. I test for Ca/Alk weekly and do regular water changes. I am using RO and Coralife salt.

As noted above, the "Golden Rule" about supplements: If you dose, you must test. I GUARANTEE, if you don't test, you'll lose 5X the cost of the test kit in corals.
