Critter ID please [Archive]

Over the last week these small white "things" started appearing on just one area of rock.

They don't move. I tried to poke at them with my fingernail and they seemed only slightly soft. Scraped at one gently and couldn't get it to pop off.

Help is greatly appreciated! :bighug:

I LOVE my nerites! :heart::heart::heart: They are the best workers I have in the tank and they completely decimate any of the red or burgundy turf algae. They will clean rock right down to the base. :thumbs_up:
