Don't panic yet. Any chance of a picture or more detailed description. There are a lot of good anenomes, and things that look similar. I've had 2 rock anenomes for a year, that have never given me any trouble. There are also mushrooms that look similar until they grow up. See if you can identify yours at www.wetwebmedia.com/CnidIndex2.htm. Hope it helps.

You'll be fine. Glass anenomes are very common in this hobby. there are a number of products out ther to contain the issue.

I would kill it if it is a pest anemone. They will reproduce and get out of control to the point where you will be pulling, scrubbing, re-pulling and re-scrubbing rock. Better to deal with one rather than several.

Great links, Joe's juice is an effective product. It can be made at home. The recipe from GARF http://www.garf.org/ is one tsp kalk - two tsp part water. Use a syringe to paste aiptasia or other unwanted critters.
I have found the paste will help eliminate everything except mushrooms, but I am working on that.
