Watchman Goby and Fire Fish

I'm a little unsure if I should be worried or if maybe I just need to add more rock to my tank to allow them each their own space.

I brought home a yellow watchman goby and a fire fish last Friday and after acclimating both to my tank they were turned loose.

I didn't see either of them on Saturday and then occasionally I'd see the fire fish. I was looking last night (tuesday) and noticed that both the Goby and the fire fish are sharing the same hole. Is this something to be concerned about?? Also I have another Watchman Goby/Pistol shrimp pair in my pico tank which G'm going to tear down next week to prepare for our move are they going to do okay with the other watchman in the tank?? Or would I be better off rehoming one Goby?

if the yellow watchman and the firefiish aren't fighting then i personally dont see a problem! as for the other im not sure because each fish has their own personality. some people dont recommend keeping two gobies of the same species together. what size tank will they be in?

they'll be in a 22 for about a month and a half until our 60 is set up and then they'll both be transfered into our 60. Right now we're trying to consolidate for a move and its easier to move and maintain one tank instead of 3.

i wouldnt worry about it either, IIRC firefish only fight with their own kind and gobies are pretty peaceful by nature

FWIW my firefish and yasha hashe goby have lived in harmony for @ 2 years or so

i thnk they will be fine for a month and a half just make sure they have space to make their own territories

I have a trio of firefish and they will only share their hole with something they feel comfortable with. It sounds like yours are doing ok.

I added the other goby and the pistol shrimp to the tank and they are adjusting well. Thanks for all the advice.
