when i turned on my lights this morning i noticed a bunch of white spots under one of my rocks. they weren't there yesterday, at least not that i noticed. they remind me of the tips of an anenome, but i don't have an anenome in my tank anymore. they look white, with a hint of green on the tips. the picture is really bad, i don't have a zoom on my camera that keeps focus up close. the only pair in my tank would be my o. clowns, so i don't think these are fish eggs. any ideas?

i think they are to big for snail eggs. they are maybe 1/8 in long. they're all along the under side of the rock, and go way up into a crack. the more i look at the rock the more i see of them. there's probably 50-60. i don't think it's sponge since there are many long spots. at first glance i thought it was an anemone i "lost" a long time ago, but it's to long and skinny. i don't have a better camera to get a better picture. i guess i'll just have to wait it out and watch to see what happens.

Jess, I have no idea what it could be! Hmm, I guess the best choice would be to wait it out as you said.

i found some more of these little things this morning. they were on the glass so i was able to get a better picture. does anyone know what these could be? the ones on the rock are starting to turn black.
