pseudocorynactis? orange ball corallimorph?

We have a sudden outbreak of a small clear jelly-like polyp with orange foot and tiny tentacles that have balls at the tips. They have popped up all over the place in our small tank, probably have about 20+ of them now. Must have come in on a recently added mushroom rock is my best guess.

After studying photos on the net, I am fairly certain that it is a pseudocorynactis (aka orange ball anemone, aka orange ball corallimorph). Here is a common pic on the net that looks pretty close, although ours are still tiny.

Anyone know anything about this? There is one quote on the net that says it is aggressive, stinging and aptasia-like and not suitable for reef tanks, then other places say it is a rare and desirable filter feeder, etc. One man's trash...

I think we probably need to get rid of it because nothing good can spread this quickly, but curious if anyone knows anything about this thing. Any info or opinion is appreciated.

could also be majano's which can come in different colors such as orange and green and are more common than the one above. But either way I would try to eliminate them before they get out of hand.

I actually started out searching majano photos because I figured that would be what these were, but they really are exactly like the pseudocorynactis photos. Never heard of them before, but they are all over the place in my tank.

Most of them are aobut the size of a pea (but flat like mushrooms) and the biggest one is approaching the size of a nickel.

Have they stung any coral yet?
