Is pH 8.0 good or should I raise it?

I have been adding Kent Superbuffer-dkh to raise the KH. Over about a week I have raised the kh from 7 to 10. My pH has stayed at 8.0. Is that ok or do I need to raise the pH? If I need to raise the pH how do you recommend I do it?

8.0 is good, but you need to stabilize it at that range.

i wouldn't be overly concerned with 8.0. If you run a refugium i would alternate the light cycle so you don't have the pH swinging low during the night. A stable pH of 8.0 is better than having to constantly dose and having the pH swinging +- .2 every few days.
