What store in San Antonio sells a wide variety of different aquariums, for a decent price? I am looking to buy a new 25 gallon glass tank and maybe a pico while i I'm at it. The farther north in san antonio the better. Thanks!

Aquarium Design on 281 and 1604, and alamo aquatic on Bandera. other LFS have them too. Just call around some will have them in the showroom other may not have the tanks there, but they can order it.

Texas Tropical sounds good. I'll call there and see if they carry a 25 gallon and some picos, if not, I'll head over to AD. Thanks alot.

Also, is there a local store that carries the Taam Rio Nano Skimmer? And has anyone used it?

Thanks.

Do any of these stores offer T-5 bulbs as well? I need some for a 24 inch fixture.

I second Aquarium designs for the tank, they also stock plenty of bulbs for your T-5's

AD it is, because they have the T5s and tanks, I'll hit up texas tropical some other time.

I've always wanted to go in there, I live a little out of the way so I've only ever been to Wolf Reef for rock and B&B for fish (both of which are great stores I might add).

Thanks for all the help.

since you live closer to texas tropical why not stop by and check it out to compare prices then go by AD and see what they have to offer its somewhat along the same route anyways i also belive TT carries T-5 for like 30 bucks or so i was debating to get one as well but haven't checked AD price for t-5's just a suggestion that might help.

I would definitely stop by TT to check it out. They were out of t5s last week, but they have a good cheap tank selection. My African Cichlid tank (60 gallon) is from there. tank/stand combo was very cheap...200 maybe, but it isn't the nicer tanks on the market.

They also have a great selection of african cichlids too!

I had the exact opposite. AD wanted an additional 150 bucks for a reef ready 65 gallon tank. I used Texas Tropical after pricing all stores in town.

Good luck.

I guess I'll just have to check them both out in that case, thanks.
