My female barb has come down with vibrio. I have begun treating with tri-sulfa in a Q tank, but she isn't eating--and hasn't for 2-3 days. I could actually use the stuff yesterday!! If you have a cannula, etc I can use, PLEASE let me know and I will pick it up. (I'm in Austin, but willing to travel) Of course it is my absolute favorite seahorse!! :( Also, if you have experience with tube feeding PLEASE tell me.

Miss you guys!! I will renew my membership after all of this panicking is done. :(

Unfortunately, I believe it is too late. I force fed her a combo of mysis and liquid vitamins, but I think the stress of it may do her in. I did not use clove oil to sedate her--couldn't find it. I hope I did it right...I think so...I really can't bear to think I made it worse. She is now lying on her side in the tank. I'm not sure whether to euthanize her, or see if she gets past the stress--I doubt there is any hope. I know some people freeze them, but is this painful? I can't bring myself to crush her quickly.

To make matters worse: my starry lawnmower blenny in my reef tank somehow swam up the outgoing tube of the skimmer and died. He was my favorite fish in my reef tank. I just found him moments ago. Hopefully, my luck will turn around soon. I did buy a cool zebra moray today--keep your fingers crossed.

Still alive, but breathing hard and lying on side. Have found Furan2 and neomycin--given first dose at 2:30pm today. Tube fed again with liquified mysis. I don't want to give up on her, but I don't want her to suffer needlessly either. Can someone please give some advice on what to do now. If I need to put her down, what is the most humane way?
