Cleaner Shrimp Question

Quick question: Are cleaner shrimp compatible with tiger pistol shrimp? I've been thinking about adding a cleaner shrimp but wanted to make sure my tiger pistol wouldn't eat it.

The tiger pistol would not attack the cleaner shrimp in an effort to eat him, but the tiger pistol will become aggressive if he feels the cleaner shrimp is in his territory. To be safe I would avoid this combination in smaller tanks, but you shouldn't have a lot of problem in a good sized tank.

i have a tank with a pistol, 6 peppermints, 12 sexy shrimp,2 camels, and 1 cleaner and they do great there in a 29 biocube but in the wild pistol shrimp eat cleaners i saw it on you tube type in pistol shrimp and you can see some cool videos on them. but anyways they should be cool together but you dont have to take my word for it . j/k

Thanks. I'll give it a try then. My pistol shrimp hasn't been aggressive towards any other tank inhabitants. Although his yellow watchman goby buddy gets irritated if anyone gets near him.
