I just bought my 1st RR tank, and I have a couple questions. It is a DSA 215g with 2 ovrflows, each overflow has a 1.5" and a 1.75" hole with no bulkheads.
I know I am going to need Durso standpipes to quell the noise, but my questions are:
1. Why are there 2 holes in each?
2. What are your recommendtions on bulkheads? ie sh 40, sh 80, threaded or slip or both?
3. Best place to get the bulkheads - quickly?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Rob

Schedule 40 bulkheads for it. one hole is a 3/4" return, and one hole is a 1" drain. I would say slip bulkheads as well as it is easier that way, esp to remove the dursos for cleaning.

so the return gets plumbed through the 3/4 up and over the top of the overflow?

OK Well I still have NO bulkheads! I ordered them along with standpipes from durso, hopefully they will get here soon. I've checked Lowe's, Ace Hardware and a local Plumbing supply store to no avail. I wish I had know the tank would come without them, I'd of ordered them long ago
