I'm picking up fish on Tuesday and just wanted to make sure I have everything I need to QT them. I have a 29 gallon long that I'm going to be using. I'm going to run it bare bottom that way if I have to treat for anything its easier. I'm planning on 4 weeks for a QT. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated since this is the first QT I've done.

I'm the worst offender at not QT'ing my new fish. But, sounds like you're on the right track. I've seen qt tanks w/broken pottery for aquascaping, an undergravel filter, an emperor filter on the back, and a single strip light. And, I've seen qt tanks that would rival some established reef tanks w/all the bells and whistles. As long as the fish is healthy for the 4 weeks that it's in there, then you're doing right.
