mandarin gender ??

i have a mandarin fish and i would like to throw in the pair but how can u tell them from the female and male. any information.

The male does not have any make up...J/K.. The male would have a flag like that sticks up from the top fin.

Males have a pointed dorsal fin and the females have a rounded dorsal fin.

oh ok cool, so yeah i've heard that it's ok to keep two mandarins together aslong at they are a pair male and female. thanks for the information.
