A Canon 40D and the 100-400mm lens work great for the zoo. The flower was taken at 100mm with the macro lens.

I've been thinking of going down to the zoo sometime soon as we haven't been in awhile and I think your pics just gave me some extra motivation! :)

I just got the monthly newsletter and it shows the plans for phase 2 of the Africa area. They are supposed to be on a plan to redo the entire zoo. Should be nice, just going to take awhile.
