June Meeting Coral Exstravaganza

MAAST proudly the announces Raffle items for the June Meeting. This is a meeting you don't want to miss. As you know Christy Shedd, Ace's wife will be doing a LPS presentation. With this Topic, we decided our members needed to experience these corals first hand. So, we have acquired through special purchases and donations, a wide variety of LPS colonies, of which includes Chalices, Favias, and other wonderful LPS. We will be asking to meet a reserve in this raffle. We will have approximately 8-10 colonies. If the reserve of $200 is met, we will raffle half and if $400 is met, ALL corals will go. These corals will not be at the meeting. The winner will be required to pick up these corals at designated locations, i.e. LFS. The purpose of this is to not stress the coral anymore than necessary. You will receive a slip or card with your winning coral on it to take in for pick-up We will post some pictures of these corals soon.

We also have a nice colony of Acanthastrea that will have it's own raffle with a reserve of $150. This a very nice well established colony.
